KIDS- Opportunity!!!! Boys and girls, we have an opportunity to share our blessings. Our friends and ministry partners at River of Life (ROL)/ Faith Food Pantry (FFP) have been serving those in need in the inner city of Cincinnati by helping with food and personal needs. Well, Christmas is coming and FFP would like to provide the opportunity to bless the kids with a Christmas gift that parents could give their children. Here is where you fit in. You are blessed! You have the opportunity right now to go through your toys and see if there are any worthy of giving away! That’s right, give away your toys!! And I don’t mean the broken, missing pieces toys. Give away toys you would like to receive! You can also choose to buy a new toy to donate if you’d like.
Parents- Opportunity!!!!! Moms and Dads, we are really excited to provide this opportunity to your children. We feel like this is an excellent way to partner with you! We are excited to bless the people of River of Life, but we are also excited to provide the opportunity to sit down with your kids and talk about how blessed you are and show them what compassion for those in need looks like and how they can take action! Challenge your kids. Ask them if it’s a gift that they would like to receive. Ask them if it’s appropriate? Ask them if they want to be stretched to give away a toy at a sacrifice…talk about what sacrifice is. That’s a great time to weave in Jesus sacrifice on the cross because He LOVES us!!! If any of this sounds a bit confusing or like crazy talk…call us. We’d love to sit down and talk it through with you!
