Are you dreaming of long sunny days filled with outdoor fun for your daughter?
Many AHG Leaders are too! Preparation has begun for many 2011 AHG Regional Summer Camps. This year, there are more AHG camp opportunities than ever, so there may be a camp happening near your hometown or favorite vacation spot. Give your daughter an unforgettable summer by allowing her to attend an AHG Summer Camp! Encourage a group of girls from your daughter's Unit to attend camp together - they will create memories that last a lifetime! Our hope is that all AHG girls will be able to find an AHG summer camp in which they can participate.
To view a listing of AHG Regional Camps, visit www.ahgonline.org/regionalcamps. This page features AHG camps that have opened their registration to AHG girls across the country! Visit often, as this page is constantly be updated as more camps are planned.
Each camp is a little different, so please contact the noted camp contact for registration* information. *All girls in attendance must be registered members of the American Heritage Girls.
Is your daughter experiencing confidence-building extra-curricular activities that inspire adventure with her time in American Heritage Girls? Does she enjoy new challenges that teach servitude, team-building and leadership skills in a safe and fun environment? Please help make these experiences available for girls across the nation by sending in your donation for the Annual Family Stewardship Campaign for 2011. Through your donation, the message of the AHG ministry can continued to be shared. To date, AHG has received only 11% of the ministry's goal of $72,500. The goal was created with the intention that every AHG family donate $10. Thankfully, several donations received are larger than this from some very generous families. If you need further information about the campaign, please visit www.ahgonline.org/ISupportAHG. To donate, you can mail in the envelope you received in the January mailing or donate online at www.ahgonline.org/donate. If you have already given to the campaign, AHG would like to sincerely thank you. If you still have to give, please do so today!

American Heritage Girls knows this all too well, and is excited to share a wonderful opportunity with its members. AHG is partnering with LifeWay
and Vicki
Courtney to let you know about the upcoming You and Your Girl Simulcast on April 9th!
You and Your Girl is a mother/daughter event (for mothers and their daughters ages 10-18 or grades 5-12) that gives you spiritual encouragement and practical tools to navigate through this generation. Youth culture expert and best-selling author Vicki Courtney encourages moms and equips daughters to steer away from today's ungodly culture and toward a God-filled life. Soak up Vicki's inspiring messages, music and worship, age specific breakouts, and more. The drive back home could be some of the best times you've ever shared.
On April 9, 2011, Vicki Courtney will be live from Nashville, TN and thanks to internet technology, Vicki can spend that weekend in your hometown too! Over 65 churches across the country will be serving as host sites for this amazing simulcast, helping moms and daughters connect. Click here (http://www.lifeway.com/event/?id=410) to find a host site near you!
Gather a group of girls and moms from your Troop and take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to learn from Vicki Courtney - author, speaker, and founder of Virtuous Reality Ministries. Virtuous Reality Ministries reaches more than 150,000 girls and mothers per year through books, speaking engagements, www.virtuousreality.com (for teen girls) and www.virtuealert.com, her blog for moms. A mother of three teens, she seeks to provide both teens and their parents with the tools necessary to navigate today's promiscuous culture.
In addition to Vicki's messages, moms, daughters, and their friends will also experience music led by The Sonflowerz and hear from a variety of breakout leaders: Jackie Kendall, Pam Gibbs, Sissy Goff, Melissa Trevathan, Carrie Hopkins Osborne, and Becky Loyd.
Moms, don't miss this weekend opportunity to connect or reconnect with your daughter, while she can be encouraged to stand up for Christ. Registration and ticket prices are determined by each host site, so contact the church directly for more information. April 9th is right around the corner, so make your plans to attend the simulcast today!
