When you look at the troop calendar that was passed out in August, you'll see it lists the "Pre-Camporee Overnight" for March 25-26th & a multi-troop event (Camporee) on April 29-30th. We wrote the calendar based on preliminary information that has now changed. Please mark the following date & event changes on your calendars.
First, there is no Camporee this year. Instead, on April 29th there is an opportunity for families to participate in a service event at Christ's Church at Mason (see the March newsletter & the blog for info).
Second, since there's no Camporee, there's no PreCamporee sleepover. Instead, some of our Pioneer girls are hosting a Veggie Tales "Sweet Pea Beauty" Bring-a-Friend Event. It's scheduled for Friday, May 13th from 7-9:30 pm (this is not a drop off event). More information on this fun evening will be coming soon!
