It's that time again when we are planning for our troop campout. The troop campout will coincide with Make a Difference Day (MADD) which is one of our big service projects as a troop. The girls can earn service hours and this is one of the service opportunities which counts toward the HUGS patch. Families can help with our service project too! We will also have unit activities and then a bonfire Saturday evening and rededicate our troop. So, it will be a weekend filled with fun and activity. Please consider joining us and bring the entire family! Families please know that you are highly encouraged to come and pitch a tent with us! It will be a great time for fellowship with one another, serving our community, working alongside one another, and just plain fun!
The time schedule for the weekend is as follows:
Friday the 14th
Arrive at 6pm. Please be sure to eat dinner first.
- Pioneer/Patriots to sleep in tents on tree house platforms.
- Explorers to sleep in tents.
- Tenderheart 2s and 3s to sleep in lodge with their leaders.
- Pathfinder and T1 girls are required to have a parent camp with them. They may sleep in lodge with mom if room permits; otherwise they are to camp with parents.
