Greetings Families,
This month we are doing something a little different for our service meeting. We are going to Chesterwood Retirement Village next Monday (2/21/11). We will be playing games such as bingo and balloon volleyball with the Alzheimer patients. There is also a piano in the room. Girls are encouraged to play for the residents.
The activities director feels that this is the best room for the girls to serve these often forgotten patients. Because we do not want our visit to interfere with dinner, we will be there from 2:30 - 4 pm. There are a few schools that are not open on that day. I am also hoping that several of the homeschooling families can join us. Girls should wear uniforms or spirit wear. Any questions, please email Susan at smcmanus@cinci.rr.com.
