Please attend our Veteran's Day event on Saturday, November 6 from 9-11:30a.m. Please meet in the Fellowship Hall. Wear your uniform! Find out about the tomb of the unknown soldier, make a special "thank you" quilt for a soldier currently serving. We'll also have a "boot camp" where we'll test out our physical fitness. There will be a small AHG "parade" down the sidewalk beside the church (dress for the weather). A soldier's mom will be speaking about her son's service. Her son likes to give out small toys to the children in the villages. Please bring a Hot Wheel or other small toy (Happy meal size/type are good). Tenderhearts will earn the Freedom's Heroes badge and Explorers will meet some of their badge requirements. Pi/Pa's are welcome!!!
